Lisa Hohman, CEO of Concordance Healthcare Solutions and 2025 Chair of the HIDA Board of Directors, is making waves in the healthcare industry. Having previously led the HIDA Educational Foundation Board of Directors from 2019 to 2023 and currently serving on SMI’s Advisory Board, Hohman is
a seasoned industry veteran. In her inaugural address at the Streamlining Healthcare Chairman’s Dinner, she unveiled a four-point vision to steer HIDA’s future direction.
Empowering Women Leaders in Healthcare
Hohman emphasized the importance of advancing women in leadership roles, commending organizations like Professional Women in Healthcare (PWH) for their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the healthcare supply chain. She paid special tribute to previous chairwomen of HIDA and the HIDA Educational Foundation — specifically Anne Eiting Klamar, Cindy Juhas, Gina Marchese, and Cara Skowronski.
The Global and Domestic Impact of Healthcare Supply Chain
The healthcare supply chain is vital for both domestic and global health. Hohman cited lessons she learned from a recent volunteer trip to Zambia where she worked with healthcare leaders and highlighted the universal need for improved systems. The United States must continue leading in innovation and tackling inefficiencies like supply constraints and waste.

Proactive Industry Leadership
Members of HIDA and the healthcare distribution industry must lead change rather than react to it. Building transparent partnerships with suppliers and providers can address supply constraints while fostering supply chain resilience. These partnerships are critical for driving improvements in patient care.

Hohman acknowledged the mentors, colleagues, and family who shaped her journey and emphasized collaboration within HIDA to evolve strategies that will revolutionize the healthcare supply chain.
